Disc filters management

Integrated management of multiple systems of disc filters

 

Note:

1: Electrically powered valve (inlet valve) 2: Electric valve (drain valve) 3: Manual valve (exhaust valve)

 

Working principle:

The intake valve 1 will open under the PLC command, drain valve 2 is closed under the PLC command, the manual valve 3 is opened (need for manual control of the valve to close for maintenance.)

When the differential pressure reaches 0.5 bar. the PLC will start backwashing mode.

The A system backwashing disc filters.

 

 

Working principle:

The intake valve 1 is opened under the PLC command, the drain valve 2 is closed under the PLC command, the water from the outflow enters the disk system, all A system disks will conduct backwash at the same time, water from the backwash will be cleared through the drain valve 2.

Replacing the A system filtration state

 

 

Working principle:

After the A system filter has entered, the valve 2 in the A system will be closed under the PLC command, then the valve 1 will be opened under the PLC command, and the A system will start filtering again

The B system filters start backwash

After the A filtration condition the intake valve 4 will be closed under the PLC command, then drain valve will be opened under the PLC command, the water from the outflow enters the disk system, all the B disks will carry backwash at the same time, water from the backwash will be cleared through the drain valve 5.

Replacement of the B filter condition

 

Working principle:

After the B system has finished backwash, the B system valve 5 will be closed under the PLC command, then the valve 4 will be opened under the PLC command, the B system will change the filtering condition, other systems will switch to backwash.
