Membrane valves modifications

The following additional modifications of the JK-Matic membrane valves are currently available:

  1. normally closed
  2. Limit-stop
  3. Contact closure
  4. position indication
  5. spring-loaded normally-open
  6. spring-loaded normally closed
  7. solenoid membrane valve
  8. level control membrane valve
  9. pressure stabilization membrane valve
  10. pressure reducing membrane valve

 

  1. Normally closed membrane valve

 

Working principle:

The valve closure: the pressure P1 supplies in the upper diaphragm control chamber (water or pneumatic pressure equal to or greater than the raw water pressure), the membrane moves the rod under pressure, blocking the water flow, thereby closing the valve.

 

Opening of the valve: the pressure P2 supplies in the lower control chamber (water or pneumatic pressure equal to or greater than the raw water pressure), the pressure equalization takes place at the top and bottom of the control chamber to allow raw water pressure, pressing on the rod, to open the valve.

 

2. Limit Stop of the membrane valve

 

Working principle:

A customizable adjustment can control the valve opening degree to achieve the required water flow.

 

3. Membrane valve with contact closure

The valve contact is opened in the open position. In case where the control pressure (water or pneumatic pressure equal to or greater than the raw water pressure) is supplied the upper membrane control chamber to close the valve, the contact closure occurs when the pressure in the upper chamber is higher than 0.1 MPa, the valve is closed, the switch is closed. When the pressure in the upper chamber is absent, the valve is opened, the contact is opened.

 

4. Membrane valves with position indication

Working principle:

When the valve opens, the membrane ejects the indication rod outwards shifting indication to an open position.

When the valve closes, the rod moves down, the return spring resets the indicator.

 

5. The spring-loaded normally open membrane valve

Working principle:

The spring is under the membrane that helps to push the membrane upwards to the open position of valves; however, membrane valve is open optionally.

 

6.    The spring-loaded normally closed membrane valve

Working principle:

The spring is under the membrane that helps to push the membrane downwards; however, membrane valve is closed optionally.

 

7.    The solenoid membrane valve

Working principle:

The solenoid valve is mounted to top valve cover that makes control of hydro/pneumatic signal controlling the operation of the membrane valve.

  

8.    Level control membrane valve

Working principle:

The tank filling is controlled by means of a float valve, which produces control of the opening/closing of the membrane valve according to the liquid level in the tank.
